Organic waste collected after cleaning yards need not be discarded. Nitrogen-rich grass clippings help in blocking competitive weeds and can be used as mulch. Raked leaves are also good mulch and rejuvenate soil and help reduce watering. Large branches can be cut to make garden borders and other useful stuff while weeds can be added to compost.
