Gujarat’s Chhota Udepur’s forest department has found a use for the coconut shells that are thrown away after consuming coconut water. They started using them as plant pots for placing saplings. They chop the bottom and when the saplings are planted along with the shells, there will be room for the roots to grow. These shells are biodegradable.
