Nearly 16 deaths have been reported so far in Kerala due to flash floods and landslides driven by torrential rains. Major landslips occurred in Idukki, Wayanad, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Kannur and Palakkad districts. Wayanad district almost isolated from the rest of the state by a series of landslips. The Govt sought Army’s help to tackle the havoc.
