Meatless Monday has become a tending hash tag across social media. It is a campaign initiated by the Humane Society of the United States to transform whole school districts, corporate cafeterias and hospitals to go meatless once a week. A study shows the impact of the campaign has helped to keep 600,000 tons of carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere.
