Burning coal poses lots of environmental and health hazards like air pollution, climate change, increased risk of asthma, heart and lung diseases and cancer. Now a study has found that burning coal can also increase the risk of premature births and when they tested areas where plant closures we done, the preterm birth rate had reduced drastically.
