With ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’ as theme for this year’s World Environment Day, the world has pledged to combat single-use plastic pollution. India, being the host of 2018 World Environment Day 2018, has organized a series of public awareness activities. It also pledged to make 100 plastic-free monuments across the country.
