Maharashtra has eased a ban on plastic use a week after it has implemented. This was due to the lobbying by MNC’s and plastic industry bodies. It has issued a Govt order allowing e-com companies to use plastic packaging for 3 more months.  UN reports that such packages contribute to half of the global waste which is thrown away after first use.
