Govt issues alert after Yamuna started to cross danger mark

The river Yamuna has begun to flow crossing its danger level of 204.83 metres after receding two weeks back.  Now it has reached 205.15 metres. Delhi may witness a flood-like situation as more water was released from Haryana’s Hathnikund barrage. Officers are directed to be proactive in taking measures of evacuation and providing relief.
