About 125 people have been reported to be killed in the fierce dust storms raging in northern parts of India. High-speed winds and lightning have devastated villages and the death toll is expected to increase. UP, Rajasthan and parts of Andhra Pradesh were affected by  storms that brought down electricity, uprooted trees and killed livestock.
