In a high-intensity squall which swept through Alwar, Dholpur and Bharatpur districts in Rajasthan, 22 people are believed to be dead and over a 100 injured. The storm has caused major destruction in Alwar, uprooting 100 trees that fell on stationary vehicles and snapped electricity cables. The power has been switched off to prevent further damage.
