Falguni Shah, an Indian singer is the new talk of the town. Her unique compositions are a coalescence of classical and western music. Her mother, who is her biggest source of inspiration, introduced her to music at a very tender age. She has undergone meticulous training under Ustad Sultan Khan, Ustad Amir Khan and Smt Kishori Amonkar.
Her first album was a conversion of ragas into English, which invariably worked in her favour. Foras Road was her second album, which was nominated for the Grammys. Her third and latest album is Falus Bollywood Orchestra that is running successfully. Falguni believes that it is her upbringing and strong family roots that has helped her blend into music so deeply.
