Unlike their land cousins, marine worms can lie undetected for years. They come in different shapes and colors and live in a wide range of habitats. The Bobbitt worm buries it 3m long body underneath the sand, leaving only its mouthparts poking out waiting for the unlucky prey to swim past its antennae when the jaws close shut.
