Marvel Comics has announced it will release a standalone series based on Shuri's adventures. Shuri is the daughter of King T’Chaka and Queen Ramonda, and is the half-sister of T’Challa. She is a technology genius and is surrounded by gadgets. Letitia Wright plays the character in the film adaptation. The release date for the comic is October 2018.
