Akshay Kumar’s Tapan Das in the upcoming movie ‘Gold’ is inspired by Kishan Lal, a former captain of the Indian hockey team. He was a fiery right-wing on the field and a true sportsman. He was from Madhya Pradesh and started playing hockey when he was 14 in 193,1 and as a captain, he and his team won the 1948 Olympic gold in hockey.
