Widespread protests by pro-Kannada activists have marred screening of Rajnikant’s Kaala in most parts of the state. Cinema halls, where it was supposed to be screened, refused to show the film as protests were conducted in front of all of them. The agitators are protesting for the sake of their Kanna brethen fighting for Cauvery water.
