Passengers on premium trains are served meals on eco-friendly disposable plates instead of polymer ones. The scheme was started at the Seladah Rajdhani, where passengers were served in bagasse plates. The fibrous remains were left behind after extracting sugarcane juice. These plates can be disposed off safely and there will be no issue of complaints.
