Operations in the Veer Savarkar Airport in Port Blair was affected due to heavy rains leaving it under ankle-deep water. Passengers were stranded at the airport as the flights were delayed due to bad weather. Skymet weather forecast says the rains will continue over the next 24 hours. The islands see a large tourist inflow during this season.
