Emmanuelle Seigner, the spouse of the acclaimed director, Roman Polanski has declined the membership to Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The Academy expelled Polanski and Bill Cosby on May 1 on charges of sexual harassment and rape. Polanski fled the US in 1978 after he admitted to abusing a minor. He won an Oscar in 2003 for ‘The Pianist.’
