Kerala CM, Pinarayi Vijayan has sent an SOS to the PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Raj Nath Singh and Tamil Nadu CM Palaniswami on raising the level of water in the Mullaperiyar dam. The water level at the dam has reached 142 feet, which he wants at 139. The dam has been a contentious issue between Kerala and Tamil Nadu over de-commissioning of the dam.
