Veteran actor Geeta Kapoor, who made her role in Pakeezah memorable, passed away at the age of 57 due to her age old illness in Mumbai. She was under the care of producers Ashoke Pandit and Ramesh Taurani ever since her children abandoned her. She had worked in over 100 films with a major role in Pakeezah where she played Rajkumar’s second wife.
