North Municipal Corportaion of Delhi is setting up  4 bio-methanation plants and 6 aerobic drum compost plants in its jurisdiction. The cost of this project will come from the Ministry of Home and Urban Affairs. Experts believe 50% of the green or organic waste generated by North Delhi can be easily converted into manure.
