The Indian Metrological department (IMD) has stated that the intensity of rains would further increase next week. Mumbai had received intermittent rains on Saturday and the Colaba and Santa Cruz Observatories recorded a rainfall of 6.2 mm and 18.1 mm respectively. The MET department said there is a feeble offshore at South Maharashtra coast.
