Indian Meteorological Department has warned of rain and thunder across Mumbai over the next 24 hours and advised residents to stay indoors. BMC has cancelled Saturday and Sunday holidays of its officers and are putting them on standy to deal with any possible disruptions over the weekend. Mumbai local trains were affected and flight were diverted.
