The India Meteorological Department has informed the arrival of the Southwest Monsoon to Kerala coast and some parts of Tamil Nadu, 3 days before its scheduled arrival. The IMD predicted 7% normal monsoon for the year 2018-19. Since India’s agriculture is dependent on monsoon, a good rainfall brings good news for the agricultural sector.
