Kerala Tourism is on roll. It bagged the Best Destination for Families award through an online poll conducted by Lonely Planet Magazine 2018. According to Kerala Tourism, the state saw an increase of 11.39% in domestic tourist arrivals in the year 2017, compared to the previous year. The total revenue grew from Rs 29,658 to Rs 33,383 crore.
