Ireland’s lower house of Parliament has recently passed a bill to end public funding of fossil fuels and opt for more sustainable energy sources.  With this step, Ireland will set an important precedent for other nations. It has become the first country to formally divest from fossil fuels. The time frame has been set to make this really achievable.
