India may do pollution check using satellites

The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) is planning to use satellite data to control air pollution. They plan to use the Chinese and the US model of assessing fine particles of using satellite images. The initial tests will be done in the ground-based stations in the cities like Delhi. This can be extended to places where stations do not exist.
