31-year-old Dharmesh Barai and his group of 22 members have managed to clean over 6.7 tons of garbage from 11 waterfalls in Maharashtra, including Tapalwadi, Jummapatti, Zenith et al. He started the local group Environment Life with 2 of his friends Amit Shirodkar and Vishal Kamatkar in 2008 who started the waterfalls garbage free initiative.
