Brisbane city council has completely banned the use of plastics in its venue. Earlier, it was only for plastic straws, bottles and balloons. It is a unique step by the council to protect the waterways and Moreton Bay. Disposable plastics are non- biodegradable wastes that are harmful for planet. It ends up in oceans polluting marine wildlife.
