Shreya Ghoshal, the singer received 4 National Film Awards

Shreya Ghoshal is a very talented and beautiful playback singer from India. She was born on March 12th 1984 in West Bengal and she did her schooling up to eighth grade at the Atomic Energy Central School in Rawatbhata. She started learning music from the age of four. She has received four National Film Awards, six Filmfare Awards, three Kerala State Film Awards and two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. She has also sung in various languages including Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati, Bengali, Marathi and Assamese.

At the age of sixteen, she won the television singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and was noticed by various Bollywood filmmakers. She made her Bollywood playback singing debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's romantic drama Devdas in 2002, for which she received a National Film Award. Apart from singing, Shreya has also appeared in several television reality shows as a judge.

She has also performed in various musical concerts around the world and has been honored by the United state of Ohio, where Gov. Ted Strickland declared 26 June 2010 as "Shreya Ghoshal Day". She was featured in the Forbes list of the top 100 celebrities from India five times. In April 2013, she was awarded with the highest honour in London by the members of House of Commons of the United Kingdom. Shreya Ghoshal married her childhood friend Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya in a traditional Bengali ceremony  in 2015
