Dr. Kruti Parekh- Asia’s youngest and the only female mentalist
Blog By Chithra Prabhakaran | Oct 03 2018

We all wish if we could read someone’s mind. If we had the supernatural abilities to ‘see’ what others couldn’t see. There are a selected few who are specialized in entertainment pertaining to these practices such as mind reading and mind tricks. They are the Mentalists.

Mentalists appear to demonstrate highly intuitive abilities and it is considered a performing art. Hypnosis, telepathy, clairvoyance, divination, precognition, mind control, memory feats, deduction, rapid mathematics etc. these are the traits of such psychic entertainers.

Training to be a mentalist is predominantly a male dominated field but Dr. Kruti Parekh has changed all those notions to become Asia’s youngest and first female mentalist.

It is interesting to note that Kruti is also India’s first test-tube baby born in 1984. Her accolades started pouring in from her early teenage years, when she was a child magician, starting from being the recipient of the FIE Foundation National Award at the age of eleven.

Kruti went on to receive many national and international accolades including the ‘Yuva Ojaswini Award’, an Indian national level award, and the Young Achievers Award by American Consulate. In 2002, she was selected as a Jury Member for the Children's Nobel Prize. She attended the World Youth Peace Summit - Asia Pacific in Bangkok, Thailand in 2004, as a youth leader for peace.

‘Kruti's Magic Academy’ is currently run by her where she trains young aspirants to become magicians. Kruti is the only magician who has a course on magic running at the Mumbai University. She has also authored a book "Beyond the Threshold of Mind".

Dr. Kruti Parekh’s research on the power of the human mind has helped her to conduct motivational workshops all over the world. She is truly a remarkable personality.
