World’s second oldest rock found in Odisha

Scientists claim a rock found 8 years ago from Odisha may be the second oldest rock. It contains two grains of zircon, which is around 4.2 billion-year-old. The analysis was done in China and the result may offer fresh clues about the earth’s origins. The oldest rock was found from Jack Hill, Western Australia estimated to be 4.4 million years old.
