World’s first bio-engineered ovary tested

Researchers from a leading fertility center claim they have tested the world's first bio-engineered human ovary in animals. It preserves immature eggs in the ovarian tissue which can be implanted after the treatment provided there are no cancerous cells in the tissue. Currently, women freeze their eggs before undergoing treatment for cancer.
