An elaborate survey conducted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs reveals rankings of 111 Indian cities in 15 categories such as governance, health, safety and security, employment, waste management etc. using 78 indicators. Gandhinagar tops the nationwide ranking for best open spaces while Sagar in MP is the safest city for women.
