Wadud vies to be the first Muslim woman in US Congress

Tahirah Amatul-Wadud, mother of seven, a lawyer and a community activist is vying to become the first Muslim woman in Congress in November mid-term elections. She says she is contesting to realise secular goals and not religious. Her goal is to represent western Massachusetts area to improve unemployment rates which are higher than average.
