Uttarakhand village shows what resilience truly is

The recent monsoon and floods washed away 5 bridges that connected the town of Dharchula in Uttarakhand. Nearly 1000 families were affected and cut off from the mainland. As there was no help from the authorities, they built a make shift bridge using wooden planks and rods. They even carried a villager who was terribly ill to a hospital 7 kms away.
