US court blocks release of 3D-printed firearms

A US federal judge has blocked the release of a software that allows consumers to 3D-print firearms. Gun access advocacy group Defense Distributed was due to put downloadable gun blueprints online. Trump Admin had given the firm permission to publish the instructions. But 8 Democratic attorneys argued that the untraceable guns were a safety risk.
