UP’s ex-CMs are not eligible for permanent accommodation: SC

The SC has cancelled a law passed by the UP Govt to provide permanent accommodation to former Chief Ministers. It said that ex-CMs are not eligible to enjoy such facilities. It also said that Section 4(3) of UP Ministers (salaries, allowances etc.) Act, 2016 is unconstitutional. It insisted they are not eligible because of their former posts.
