Tourism takes a new leap in NZ, tax will be imposed

Tourism has been on a surge in New Zealand, which has impacted costs and availability of publicly-provided infrastructure, according to tourism minister Kelvin Davis. So, a tax of NZ$25-35 would be imposed on international visitors from the middle of next year while price hikes for immigration fees and visas will take effect this November.
