TN railway stations get help desks to curb human trafficking

India saw about 8132 cases of human trafficking of which 434 were reported from Tamil Nadu. Since railway stations are the most common transit points of criminals, help desks will be set up in the stations to curb the menace. The woman-and-child desk in Bhubaneshwar had rescued 359 children in 2016. Three stations in AP also have similar systems.
