Test confirms no Nipah in fruit bats samples from Kerala

The test result from Bhopal's National Institute of High-Security Animal Diseases established no Nipah Virus in samples of fruit bats that were sent from Kozhikode. WHO defines Nipah virus as one that is spread by fruit bats and is fatal for both animals and humans. Samples of animals and insect bats that were also tested negative.
