Earlier it was taught brain was actively developing only during childhood but recent research has confirmed the growth continues during adolescence also. Professor Sarah-Jayne Blakemore says teenagers feel sleepier late at night than adults and are tired in the morning. She also suggests teenagers must learn about science happening in their brains.
