Teenagers lacking sleep may be prone to high BP and obesity

According to a study, adolescents who sleep less may risk developing high blood pressure and excess body fat which may be unhealthy for the heart. A group of 829 teens were asked to monitor their night and day time activities. It was found that teens with better sleep efficiency had lower BP and cholesterol levels and smaller waist circumference.
