Succession war brews in DMK after Karunanidhi's demise

The DMK working President M K Stalin said he would “not be cowed down” by any flutter and said he would overcome any challenge within or outside the party. He made these remarks in a letter to his party men. Mr. Stalin is embroiled in a succession battle with his estranged brother M K Alagari, who was expelled by Mr. Karunanidhi in 2014.
