Study says checking work emails can lead to anxiety

William Becker’s study, it is said that employer’s expectations of their employees checking emails during non-working hours are harmful to their health and their families too. It leads to anxiety. He is a Virginia Tech professor in Pamplin College of Business whose study will be presented at the Academy of Management annual meeting in Chicago.
