Researchers have found that people in general and also teenagers are smitten by the social media to look like their virtual self, like in snapchat face filters. They want to have same flawless skin and big eyes rendered by those filters. As filtered selfies are a reference for altering appearance, doctors label this phenomenon as snapchat dysmorphia.
