Shashi Tharoor to travel abroad to seek UN aid

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has been granted permission to travel abroad by a Patiala court to pay his respects to the former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan. He will also visit the UN headquarters in Geneva to seek aid for flood victims of Kerala. He has been allowed to go abroad starting from August 10 by paying a surety deposit Rs 2 lakh.
