Screening against colon cancer
Beeps By | Nov 30 -0001

The American Cancer Society recommends getting tested for colon cancer at age 45 instead of 50. Colonoscopies are expensive and slightly risky, but can prevent cancers by removing polyps. Other screening methods are virtual colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopies and DNA tests for tumors in the stool. Symptoms include blood in the stool, abdominal cramping etc.
