Sabarimala does not discriminate against women

Senior advocate K.Parasaran, told the Supreme Court that prohibition on the entry of women of a certain age into the Sabarimala temple is not based on misogyny, but due to the celibate nature of the deity. He pointed out that Hinduism is a faith of tolerance and not discriminatory and that educated Keralite women chose to respect the prohibition.
