Reasons for halitosis in cats
Beeps By | Nov 30 -0001

Offensive mouth odour in cats may point to disease. When cats’ mouths stink more than the smell of fishes, it stems from bacterial infection due to the damaged tissue. This could be caused by dental calculus, gingivitis, oral cancer, ulcers or tongue lacerations, or a foreign body trapped in oral crevices. It can be treated with a dose of antibiotics.
